LE CLUB DE FRANÇAIS

Bonjour! Hoover High School boasts of a strong French Club where members participate in a variety of activities that encourage a deeper cultural understanding and use of the language. Any past or current student (grades 9-12) may join French Club. French Club usually meets monthly and our activities may include watching French movies, celebrating French holidays such as Chandaleur or Mardi Gras and an end-of-the-year banquet. Students also participate in our annual French Week, which promotes the French language and cultural understanding within the rest of the high school.

In addition to French Club, students are also given the opportunity to travel abroad and visit France sometime during their years at Hoover. In the past, we have traveled every two years and we are currently planning to travel to France in June 2017. The costs are solely the responsibility of the student.
