THE VIKING: A YEARBOOK STAFF WORTH READING ABOUT

Yearbook is an elective course that teaches students proper writing format, photography skills and design elements. Students will learn how to be deadline oriented and punctual, while becoming more involved in school activities and stepping out of their comfort zone. It also helps to better their skills at multi-tasking all the aspects of high school. Hoover is known for being an OSMA award-winning yearbook, and has a close knit staff that always welcomes new students. Even though it is an enjoyable class, yearbook takes a lot of time. Between the time spent during the school day, going to events outside of school, and summer ad sales, it is a lot to have on ones plate. We suggest that all yearbook applicants have taken Journalism 1 and know what is expected of them at the time of submitting their application. The application includes three teacher recommendations, and a questionare. PURCHASING A "SENIOR CONGRATS" ADVERTISEMENT

Senior Congrats Ads can be purchased starting 10/1/18 through 1/15/19.

What is a Senior Congrats Advertisement?

A "Senior Congrats" Ad is an advertisement in the back of the yearbook that honors your graduating senior.  It includes photos of the student, both old and/or new, and a message from their families.  This is a wonderful tradition that your student will be able to look back on for the rest of their lives, and a way to make their senior yearbook a bit more special.

How do I order one?

The ordering process is simple.  Follow the link below and you can purchase and design your own ad!

Senior Congrats Online Ordering 

If you would like our Business Manager to design an Ad for you, simply download and print the order form, fill it out, attach any photos you would like to be used (either digital or hard copy), and send in to Hoover High School Yearbook in room G-1. We will handle the rest and will return your images after the pages have been completed.
